Bienvenue Charlemagne Families!

This is our 2nd newsletter of the 2025-2026 school year, so if you are just returning from vacation or email, please read below for Back to School information.

We’re excited to welcome several new faces to our school family this year:
  • Ingrid Brandt – Kindergarten
  • Alison Hintz – Speech Language Pathologist
  • Michele Oka – Temporary 4th Grade (covering for Mme Jana while she is on leave)
  • Zoë Teply – 3rd Grade
  • Cheryl Tsogho – Bilingual EA, 1st Grade
  • Kara Whipple – School Psychologist
In our kitchen, we’re delighted to introduce Becky Weatherford and Stefanie Napier as our new Kitchen Staff Team—get ready for delicious meals served with a smile!

While we’re thrilled to welcome these new team members, we also bid a fond au revoir to Terra and Lorella, who are off to new adventures at South Eugene High School. We wish them every success in their new roles.

Office Hours: The Charlemagne office will reopen on Monday, August 18, from 9:00–12:00 and 1:00–3:00 p.m. Please take caution as you come up the stairs or ramp: we are in the midst of making our building more ADA accessible.

Merci, Poppy
